Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy describes how Lotenix Technology LLC, operator of Glide, uses cookies and similar technologies on glide-ride.com and in the GLIDE Rider and Driver apps. In short: GLIDE does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services. We store only what is needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags.

2. What GLIDE Stores on Your Device

GLIDE itself does not set cookies. Instead, the website and apps use your browser's or phone's local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage and, for one feature, IndexedDB). This information stays on your device and is not used to track you across other websites.

Strictly necessary

• Login session: after you sign in, your account session (account details and a sign-in token) is saved so you stay signed in to the Rider or Driver app. It is removed when you log out.
• Sign-in notices: a short-lived note (sessionStorage) used to show you a message such as "please sign in again"; it is cleared when you close the tab.

Preferences

• Display settings: your text size (Standard, Large or Extra large) and font style.
• App settings: your choice of navigation map, whether trip audio recording is turned on, whether a dashboard panel is open, and whether you have already dismissed the "Add to Home Screen" tip.

Trip audio recordings (only if you turn them on)

If you turn on trip audio recording, encrypted recordings are kept in your device's storage (IndexedDB) and deleted automatically after 7 days unless you file a safety report. See our Privacy Policy.

3. Third-Party Services

Some features load services from other companies. When they load, those companies receive standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) and may use their own cookies or storage under their own privacy policies:

• Maps: Google Maps and Mapbox display maps, address search and routes. Mapbox's map library may keep an anonymous identifier in local storage to count map loads.
• Payments: when you add a card, Stripe's secure payment form loads and may set cookies Stripe uses to prevent fraud. If you choose PayPal, PayPal's own pages and cookies are used.
• Fonts and website delivery: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and are delivered through Cloudflare, which may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from automated abuse.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels. GLIDE does not display ads or sell advertising space.

4. Managing Storage and Cookies

You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox. Clearing site data for glide-ride.com signs you out and resets your preferences. In the Android app, clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app removes this data. Blocking local storage entirely will prevent you from staying signed in.
