GLIDE card payments run on Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Pay with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal β your card details are never stored on GLIDE's servers.
Stripe maintains PCI-DSS Level 1 certification β the highest level of payment security. Your full card number is never stored on Glide's servers at any point. We only store a secure token that Stripe generates.
Every trip gets a receipt in the app, by email and as a PDF β fare, the $2.00 booking fee, the Maryland Transportation Network Company Impact Fee, any tolls or airport surcharge, tips and promos, each on its own line.
Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, plus PayPal. Save more than one payment method and choose which to use before you book.
Something wrong with a charge? Open the trip receipt and tap "Dispute this charge", or contact Help & Support. GLIDE support reviews it, and approved refunds go back to your original payment method.
When you book, a hold for your upfront price is placed on your payment method. You're charged when the trip ends β the upfront price, unless you add a stop, change your destination, or keep your driver waiting.
Riding with friends? Split the fare in the app, or invite someone who isn't on GLIDE yet by text.
Keep work rides separate with their own card. Receipts can be emailed to your company, with expense notes and CSV export.
Drivers are paid automatically every Monday to their bank account. Need it sooner? Instant Pay sends earnings to a debit card in minutes (1.5% fee, min $0.85).
See your price before you book, pay the way you like, and get an itemized receipt every time.
